Nursery
The nursery provides a safe, clean, loving environment during weekend services for infants/toddlers through age 3.
Children
Ages 4 through 5th grade. Children enrich their hearts and minds with lessons from the Bible during weekend services. Introduced through age-appropriate music, drama, reading, discussion and creative activities, sensitive leaders help to mold a spiritual foundation into these precious young souls.
  Special Needs Ministry
(Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Mental Retardation, Visual and Hearing Impairment, Epilepsy, Paralysis).   Saturday Evenings 6:00pm The Special Needs Sensory Room on Saturday evenings offers you the opportunity to attend church while your child is being taken care of in a loving environment, customized for their special needs. Willy Wonka Children's Musical
This enchanting musical features Willy Wonka, owner of a magical and mysterious Chocolate Factory, who invites the audience to join him in a world of pure imagination. Performances:  Wednesday, November 10 (School Shows at 9:15 & 11:15am), Friday, November 12, 7pm, Saturday, November 13, 11am, Sunday, November 14, 4pm. There were a lot of amazing and talented kids that auditioned and I am proud of each and every one of them. Oompa-Loompa & Villagers will be cast at rehearsal tomorrow, August 30. WILLY WONKA CAST LIST

AWANA
Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm  (begins September 1)
Biblical Club for ages 3 years through 8th grade with a focus on the Gospel and on serving Christ. Our clubbers memorize scripture, participate in team activities and learn just what it means to be a follower of Jesus. AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" (2 Timothy 2:15).

Awana Games Practice Dates & Times: Sundays, 1/09/11 - 2/06/11 from 12:30- 2:15pm 
Awana Grand Prix - Sunday, 10/10/10 from 12:30-2:30pm
Awana will not meet on the following dates: 11/24/10, 12/22/10, 12/29/10, 2/09/11, 4/06/11
Closing Ceremonies - Wednesday, May 18

A new addition this fall  to our AWANA program - TREK is directed at 7th/8th graders to help them during these turbulent years. Your students will learn lessons about God, how to respond to God's faithfulness, how to handle the realities of life, and ways to live God's principals while dealing with trials, temptations and tough times.  

Registration now open for 2010-2011. Registration into the AWANA program is not guaranteed as we must have appropriate ratios based on the number of volunteer leaders and participants.  As part of this program, all parents are required to volunteer at least once during the season.   All payments received will be deposited immediately and refunds will be given if a spot is ultimately not available for your child.

Hold the Date!  An Old Fashioned Christmas Pageant
Saturday, December 11, 12-3pm.  Come one, come all to our second annual Old Fashioned Christmas Pageant.  Hear wonderful Christmas Music from our CRB Concert Choir, watch youngsters perform a sweet interpretation of the real Christmas story, create christmas ornaments in a workshop for kids and kick off the Christmas season with a yummy potluck for the entire family. Free admission - just bring a dish to share (to feed 10-15) for a potluck lunch.  Please bring a dish based on your last name:  A-C:  Fruit or Green Salad, D-G: Sides H-M: Main N-Q: Bread/Rolls, R-Z: Desserts.    Watch for sign ups - for more info, contact Heidi Hicok at heidi@thechurchatrb.org.

In recognition of the responsibility and privilege of parenting, and to demonstrate our support as you raise your children, The Church at Rancho Bernardo invites families to participate in a service of dedication whereby God's blessing is formally invoked upon the parents and children, and parents make a public commitment to provide a nurturing home where their child will have an opportunity to learn about Jesus and His amazing love.
