Men‘s Small Group: Band of Brothers
Tuesdays at CRB, 7-9pm
Open to new members anytime. Are you ready for some Brotherhood? The Band of Brothers is looking for a few of God’s men to join us as we continue on our weekly journey. If you are looking for lively discussion of men’s issues in a supportive, challenging, and Christian environment, you are welcome to join us. For more details, contact Roger Hindman at
jrhindman@san.rr.com / 858.673.0523.   We meet backstage in The Living Room. Just bring your Bible and an open and willing mind to any Tuesday night meeting. We pride ourselves on welcoming all newcomers with open arms. Our experience is that new faces bring new understandings and perspectives, which expands all of our knowledge and enhances our walk with the Lord.

Monday Men’s Bible Study (resumes august 23)
Monday evenings in the Living Room at CRB (backstage), 5:30-6:45pm
Open to new members at any time.
14 Week Study of the 12 Minor Prophets: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi.  Prophetic books cover over one-quarter of the Bible, yet no section of the Bible is more neglected. Sign up with Jay Sesto.
And we have something more sure, the prophetic word, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation.  For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.  2 Peter1:19-21

 Prison Ministry
If you have a gift for encouraging others (as well as administration) and are comfortable with public speaking, you may wish to consider volunteering as a prison chaplain. This ministry provides immense personal blessings to others and CRB’s relationship with Centinela State Prison in El Centro (just a 2 hour drive away) will allow you to pick the time on a weekly or monthly basis to support the chaplains. This is a male only, moderate security facility, with approximately 4,200 prisoners and you will be fully trained and oriented to work within the facility.  Another aspect of the ministry includes delivering Bible studies and providing administrative support to the facility chaplains.  For more info, please contact Doyle Young at doyleyoung@earthlink.net.

 CRB Golf Tournament
Friday, June 3, 2011 1:30 shotgun start
This is a fun event for men & women eager to enjoy the great outdoors, some healthy fellowship and maybe even walk away with a trophy or raffle prize at the end of the day.  Reach out to friends & family who may not attend CRB and bring them along for a fantastic Friday of enjoying some of God’s greatest gifts – the beauty of nature and friendship. We’ve introduced some exciting Hole-in-One prizes and puffed up the raffle with a Big Screen TV, golf foursomes and much more.  After the tournament there is a fantastic Tri-Tip barbecue dinner back at CRB.  Contact Marty Brown kbrown3@san.rr.com / 858.735.0959 or sign up in the atrium. $99 per golfer includes dinner.
