Leading a life of service is one of the most effective tools we have to experience God.
Service is the best prescription ever written for pain relief.
Service is how we awaken our divine & eternal joy.
Service is one of the most powerful ways we get to worship God.
“…science has shown that altruistic behaviors…actually do improve our health. Volunteering, for example, has been shown to minimize stress and improve depression…It can even help us live longer. It also appears that giving can help us cope with pain.”
“Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble. The Lord protects and preserves them—they are counted among the blessed in the land…The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.”
