  • 8:30am – Arrive for check-in
  • 9am-12pm – Work on serve day projects
  • 12pm – BBQ lunch

Pick a project, serve a community.

Below is a list of projects available to sign up for and a basic description of the job duties. Physically less demanding projects are in blue.

Welcome Team *FULL*

Sign-in all volunteers and direct to specific areas. 7:30-10:00a

Mulch

Spread mulch or wood chips throughout the park.  8:30a – 2:00p

Hands of Hope Assembly *FULL*

Pack hygiene kits for homeless. Physically less demanding project.   8:30a – 2:00p

Clean up San Pasqual HS *FULL*

Sanitize toys or clean in Library.Physically less demanding project. 8:30a – 2:00p

Gardening at San Pasqual HS *FULL*

Plant and clean-up garden.  8:30a – 2:00p

Painting *FULL*

Painting benches, bridges and facilities.  8:30a – 2:00p

Pick up litter *FULL*

Pick up litter throughout the park. Physically less demanding project. 8:30a – 2:00p

Planting trees *FULL*

Planting trees throughout the park. 8:30a – 2:00p

Painting at San Pasqual HS *FULL*

Painting doors at San Pasqual High School.  8:30a – 2:00p  

Vegetation

Remove tree debris, weeding and stack fallen limbs. 8:30a – 2:00p

Kids Zone Team *FULL*

Help with supervision, face painting and bounce houses. 10:30a – 2:00p.

Gift Assembly *FULL*

Help to assemble gift bags for struggling Escondido School families. Physically less demanding project.  8:30a – 2:00p

Greeter/Parking Attendant

Direct traffic in parking lot and greet all volunteers. Direct volunteers to the check-in tent. 7:30a – 2:00p
