Discover how to rise above the stuff that brings us down!

The Apostle Paul wrote one of the most joy-filled letters in prison. Join us as we follow the incarceration of an incurable optimist and learn the art of making adversity work for us.

August 21/22
Things Are Looking UP (Perspective)
Your focus determines your reality. The Apostle Paul found joy in prison because of his perspective on life. Paul knew who his life was about and what his life was about. That who and that what were bigger than the cell he was in.

August 28/29
UP Is Down (Pride)
Pride can make an easy life hard, a blessed life miserable, a rich life poor! Pride is a prison unto itself. In this message, Paul teaches us how to bust out through humility and servanthood.

September 4/5
Twists & Turns & Lessons Learned (Forgiven Past)
Our past can imprison us. Our mistakes can keep us down. The Apostle Paul reveals the funny thing that happened to him on his way to a great future – a thing called “Grace!”

September 11/12
Live What You Love (Passion)
God’s strategies for busting out of life’s prisons are effective and strong. When Paul was shackled by loneliness, he reached out to people (church). When chained by negativity, he engaged in praising God (worship). When imprisoned by selfishness, he opened his heart to give (generosity). Paul did not talk what he loved… he lived what he loved and that’s why God LIFTED him up.
